ශ්‍රී ලංකාවට යුද නැව් පරිත්‍යාග ලෙස ලබාදීමට චීනය සූදානම් බව වාර්තාවෙයි.

සවුත් චයිනා මෝනින් පෝස්ට් පුවත් සේවය මේ බව වාර්තා කර ඇති අතර C28A , C13B , ‍හෝ 053 වර්ගයේ නෞකා එකක් හෝ දෙකක් මෙලෙස ලබා දීමට තීරණය කර ඇත.

චීනය ශ්‍රී ලංකාවට යුද නැවක් ලබාදෙන අතරේම පිලිපීනයට බෝට්ටු හතරක් ලබාදීමටත් තීරණය කර ඇත.

මේ අතර චීනය ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ හමුදා සාමාජිකයන් වෙනුවෙන් ලබාදෙන පුහුණු වැඩි කර ඇති අතරම ශ්‍රී ලංකා මිලිටරි ඇකඩමියේ ශ්‍රවණාගාරයද ඉදිකිරීමට චීනය ඉදිරිපත්ව ඇත.​

Ahmed along with the dignitaries of the High Commission, the Director General Operation of the Sri Lanka Navy, Rear Admiral Dharmendra Wettewa and the Director General Engineering, Rear Admiral Nilantha Premasiri attended this historic occasion which saw the official handover of 06 Arrow Boats and 03 Inshore Patrol Craft worth of approx. USD 4.2 million, said by the Navy media.​
