Finished Divinity Original Sin 2
One of the best games ever I've played! Almost put 100ish hours into the game
Can't say it's wasteful cause enjoyed the heck out of it.
It's very long due to the turn based combat & specially the insane scaling system but apart from scaling almost all of it is pretty damn good.
The ending was a bit rushed so I wish I waited for the definitive edition but still a brilliant piece of work
Played on tactician mode which is hard AF! Specially due to the scaling systm. Walk into a fight blindly and you'd be dead easily. So you have to place your companions strategically and think how you are going to attack. Almost like a chess game.
Story wise again really great. Graphics > awesome. Companion interactions are super satisfying and companion quests are very interesting as well. They aren't there just for the sake of it, everyone plays a huge role deep into the main story.
Definitely a must play if you are into RPGs
Comparing with Pillars of Eternity 2, I'm more leaned towards Divinity OS2. It's a tough comparison because both are really really excellent games but in divinity the combat system is less complex and controllable & a rich experience overall imo. Main thing is it's simpler than pillars. Love both games tho.
