    There is nothing to panic as you can simply use OpenJDK in production instead of OracleJDK. Java isn't going to die because of this.

    .Net framework (not the .net core which target only the web apps and web APIs with cross platform capability ) and i said "fairly" stable. :yes:

    .Net framework grew since v2.0 (released in 2005) in a fairly consistent manner.

    .net core undergoes rapid changes because they (Microsoft and supporting community ) try to make things "easy" for application developers and absorb community feedback as much as possible quickly. so release cycle for .net core became shorter.
