    Dear expert friends

Now when we are creating an e-mail we have to put mobile no also.

Is there any possibility of identifying a person created/send email to us?

Or find by Internet Service Provider or IP adresss

    Thanks

Which email client you are using?
The email headers do contain certain information which could be of help.

Sometimes can.. Depends on what you can find on the email headers. Get the help from someone with a knowledge on these. It's not easy to explain. Depends on what you can find on the headers. For eg Gmail hides the sender IP address, some mailers have the x-originating-IP etc. So it is hard to exactly tell you a specific method. Yahoo retains the IP. :P

agree. Just check mail headers and check whether it is available? IP address should be there.

Not sure whether you can trace back the gmail sender.

That's also variable.. Gmail hides the sender IP address from outgoing email headers if you compose the mail from Gmail.com itself. But if you are using a mail client from your own computer using IMAP or POP to send mails then Google includes your IP address in the outgoing email header.

Ahh.. is it? Didn't know that, Thanks for the info.
Anyway, would they still include the IP addy. of the sender, if someone uses official gmail client app in smart phones?
