this is not a true news as they can not provide warranty if Toyota japan is not offered to it, toyota japan cannot offer warranty for JDM vehicle as it manufactures for Jap market

yeah thats why they have initiated a separate company. as per my friend inspections carried out by Toyota Lanka. But services warranty & import done by a company under Toyota (as I remember Fair services / auto sth like that)

They have done it in the past about 15-20 years ago for permits. That's how we got most of 110s as permits. They would give a local dealer warranty for that. United Motors did same for intercoolar pajeros for minister permits.
