actually what they did was the shift their tp’s from the old sat to new one because intelsat 12 is old and is soon to be retired.
Afaik the new sat beam is exclusive to SL and can expect a somewhat of a gain in signal quality

if you press the SAT button on your remote you'll see improved signal & quality strengths. my previous quality bar was at 69 and now it become 77-81. cannot identify any signal bar change since it was 100 even before the update
