I live within 600m to the Piliyandala town. Land prices have sky rocketed here after the war. Can't even buy 1 perch for 1 million from the area where I live.

If I tell you a bit about this area, there are 5 freaking super markets (Piliyandala food city, 2 Keels super (Moratuwa road, Miriswatta), Arpico within 5 mins walking distance to me. Then there are more than dozen banks, swimming pools, indoor badminton courts etc. around here. So no wonder the land prices are so high in here.

Your best bet is to find a land around from Homagama NSBM for about 2k. That area is gonna develop in next 10 years like crazy man.
