I had a simillar case in Canada vs France. Sadly I'm not attach to Sri Lanka as you guys. I only lived there about 7-8 years in my childhood. Also the reason I left Sri Lanka was painful.. So many dark memories out here in Sri Lanka which I accept as life altering challenges. So to your question I choose Canada as my home which it is untill I die. Not even France which is my second citizenship after marriage. Sri Lanka always be my motherland but Canada is my home and it gave me my life and protection. I always be a Canadian..

Not entirely true. This would largely depend on her upbringing(by parents obv) . I know Aus born kids who posess Srilankan values than lankan millenials. As arunat said genes play a major part in defining who you are.
