This is Sri Lanka, nobody cares about morals when it comes to money - not even religious heads

There are initiatives by the government to address this issue (Langama paasala hndama paasala") time will tell if they succeed

I don't understand the point of those tbh

so according to your logic only a limited lot should get the opportunity of going to a good school ? what sort of logic is this ? i am saying all schools should have good education standards. no school should be bad.

it is also a wrong thing to stress small children with this scholarship program

you are right. all schools should have a good education standard. but that isn't the case at least in the moment. so what do you suggest ? close down all the schools that aren't performing well and send all the children into schools that are performing well ? do u honestly think it's going to work ? can u explain how ?

of course we dont have a 1 day fix for this problem. we should come out of" nothing going to change" mentality 1st.
