the whole story is built around jon. he is the most righteous character in the entire series and he's not power hungry. so I don't think he'll be killed. may be he'll refuse the iron throne. but he has targarian blood and principles of a stark. he was among notherners since the childhood and they know who he is. i see no better man to unite the seven kingdoms..
