Please help me.
In previous(private) company my package was as below.
Basic salary - 50,000
Travelling allowance - 50,000 (This was there as an allowance just to deal with taxes those days before 2018 April)
I waited total notice period of 2 months(after putting 14 annual leaves it was around 1.5 months)
But when I checked my last salary they have reduced around 35,000 mentioning they will not give allowance portion for utilized annual leaves.
Can they do that legally? I have used my own annual leaves to cover my notice period and since the allowance is fixed I don't think they can reduce that just because I have taken my annual leaves.
Kindly help and advise me.
