Yeah. But the case is if you are intended to use more than 1yr you have to register it paying full taxes or return it to the original country. Also, the vehicle must be RHD But there were more conditions. I remember there was a Hummer with UK plates (Auto Miraj) brought in a similar way

Ahaa.!! Tubo lag naththe electric motor eka nisa.. The motor has the same amount of torque as a little 4 cylinder engine Anik eka CLS53AMG eke ena M256 engine version eke electric supercharger ekak enwa.. :O

Personally mama SUV walata kamathi naa.. High seat position, drive feel eka mata dirawanne naa.. Mama una naam panna gaman CLS53 eka ganne..

Integrated Starter Generator isn't new. Toyota had an engine using 42V a long time ago in the Japanese local market.
However, the lack of a single drive belt could be unique.

Yes, so did Honda`s IMA. Similar tech bust mostly used for 'Hybrid' versions. Merc` 48v is system is standard for every application where the M256 engine is used. Plus all the benefits of a straight 6 (simplicity, high torque, smoothness, power delivery,etc...)

Yes.. true. The in-line engines are making a comeback. I wonder why they went out of fashion in the first place, being a simpler design - Probably the overall length of the engine.
