fuck that.. dude.. an intern came to my place..south indian.. master in network security..was so clingy and trying hard to win over us for PR.. he was flowing everywhere everyone.. sat down with me for some networking tips...while the conversation going on i asked him, do you know any dos commands...his reply was No.... no knowledge of anything... this is the standard of post graduates in australia now whos looking for PR...fucking hopeless
With Indians it's always there...I know people who did chemical for there bachelors and came for IT masters. So that knowledge gap is always there. When I asked they said in India it's relatively easy to find an IT job compared to other engineering jobs so most of the people who have none IT background enroll for short term programming/ IT courses and then start there career in IT.
trust my word..10 years ago indians did the same thing to the hospitality industry they are going to do the same thing to IT here.. in 5 years.. IT is going to be like accounting... everyone who i spoke is a master of cyber security
Indians, they have long term plans.. someday Aussi will be Chindia

hahah,.Could be. you know why, Cybersecurity job code falls into 'Non Pro rata' occupation list where the competition is lil less. It's the only IT job code in non pro rata list. Every other IT job codes (SE, BA, Networking), Nursing and Accounting are in 'Pro rata Occupations' .
So they do cyber security for the sake of PR, Think about a person who did Chemical for bachelors, masters in Cybersecurity..lol..wonder they can even install anti-virus software.
