Useless "Mobile phone industry" wasted more money than anything else to "R&D" still we have the same after 15 years but with lower battery life.

This sounds like a highly specific case of a personal opinion towards the subject. What I think is that there isn’t much called “mobile phone technology” anymore and what we currently have is more of “mobile computing technology”. Demand for this area is ever increasing and this causes the technology to improved much faster than it used to be.

What I think is that there isn’t much called “mobile phone technology” anymore and what we currently have is more of “mobile computing technology”. Demand for this area is ever increasing and this causes the technology to improved much faster than it used to be.

Giving fancy name doesn't make it useful. We have messed up our priorities in terms of technology. I don't see any improvement yet instead of designs and camera. After billions of dollars wasted, mobile companies still cannot autocorrect a phrase correctly. We are getting the same thing over and over again but in different skins.

In simpler words, what I said is it may not be useful to you but might be useful for other people. So it isn’t something that can be removed from the world just because you don’t like it.

Based on the way you measure things, if mobile computing is considered to be something that didn’t get improvements at all in the last decade, then we can say that personal computers are even worse because we still have a cpu, monitor, keyboard and mouse which we had in 90s also.

Also one more important thing. I have seen a lot of Sri Lankan’s always complaining about how other people spend their money. I don’t think it is something under your control and never should be either.

But i've had it with lack of customization
And nowadays they are straight up rubbing customers blind with so called extra features
Wireless charging, Fast charging & Extra Storage should come out of Box
And what's the deal with 720 Displays
We're in a age where budget phones also providing good OLED Panels, Hell some of them even has 90hrz Refresh rates.
But still apple are providing customers with 720p displays and called liquid retina displays like it a thing, Pathetic
