No one should ever get 2/3rds. That is a sure recipe for disaster. We have seen it happen once, and never should it be repeated.![]()
I think we should let Mahinda get 2/3 majority power .
Give one good reason?
Would he abolish provincial councils which was powered by 13A??
If so i think giving 2/3 would be totally fine
Also keep it mind that didn't happen back in 2010, instead we got 18A by allowing president to contest more than 3
Main reason is Mahinda i want him to see with 2/3 majority power in parliament with his gang, then from the other end his brother Gota . We all can see a good governance then right ?
We are back to 2010-2015 where Mahinda is overconfident and UNP is a weak opposition
We should have a parliament with full of people who would vote 2/3 for betterment of country despite they are opposition or governing side
Instead we always end up with a parliament where ministers should be rewarded with a cabinet ministry post :|
with current structure in parliament rest of the parties are already fucked and no fan base . I think highest fan base is TNA now any they will be the opposition next parliament. whole opposition will limit to 70-80 seats this time. Mahinda will get 2/3 majority . That is my ultimate dream before he die in next 10 years he should get this ultimate power on his hand .
Hope he won't use that power to make PM position powerful than the president

Dream onHope he won't use that power to make PM position powerful than the president
2/3 could do that buddy![]()
