Data expenditure was negligible back when we played COD, Halo and NFSHP 2010 online

Data is data. Doesn't matter whether they advertise it as "Free" or not. Whether you update a game 6 in the morning or 6 in the evening it will use the same amount of bandwidth.

If they can provide unlimited data for streaming platforms for Rs. 1990, why can't they do the same for this?

Form a users perspective why should I pay double the amount for the same amount of data?

Does online gaming consume that much data?
Data expenditure was negligible back when we played COD, Halo and NFSHP 2010 online

It's mostly for the updates, actual playing doesn't consume a lot. They are updated constantly. In CoD MW 2019, a single update is usually about 30-60GB. Now imagine if you play multiple online games on a daily basis.
So these packages doesn't make any sense. If they actually did a proper analysis before introducing something like this, then they would know that. Unless this is a cheap cash grab.

sadly who ever thought about this didn't plan well cuz there's no huge consumption of data to play online games even AAA title will consume around 100mb to 200mb for hour hopefully they have improve the Ping drastically for these packages

sadly who ever thought about this didn't plan well cuz there's no huge consumption of data to play online games even AAA title will consume around 100mb to 200mb for hour hopefully they have improve the Ping drastically for these packages

Why would anyone need a special add-on to "play" online games? We're perfectly able to do that right now with the packages we have. And they can't magically reduce the ping because geographical locations are fixed and the speed of light is constant.

All we need is a reasonable package from a gamer's perspective. Something like unlimited data for the gaming planforms for a reasonable price.

ඔව් කතාව ඇත්ත. ඒත් රෑ 12 - උදේ 8 අතර දෙන ඩේටා පැකේජ් එකේ ඩේටා වොලියුම් එක විදිහට ගන්න බෑ.
මනුස්සයෙකුට අවශ්‍ය වෙලාවට පාචිච්චි කරන්න පුලුවන් ඇත්තටම 40යි.
