So guys, Is it really worth buying Expensive Android Phones ? every year technology getting better and better.If we buy newest phone today it will outdated after and year.

if we buy mid range phone today,we can buy another good phone in next year ?

So what do you think about spending more money on Android phones ?? (Not related to Apple Users)

අනික කැඩුනොත්/ නැතිඋනොත් ලොකුවට හිතන්න දෙයක් නැ.
අනික Flasgship android උනත් උපරිම අවුරුදු දෙකක් වගේ තමයි android major updates එන්නේ.

ඒ අතින් iphone සුපිරි. එත් ගැන ප්‍රශ්නයක්. ලක්ෂයක් වියදම් කරත් iphone flagship එකක් ගන්න බැනේ

My suggestion to have a phone with Qualcomm 8xx series SOC. Check how much you can spend. Then check available option in market. Nothing to bothering if it's is previous years model. Because flags ship have very minor design updates each year. You not lose much if choose old models and they are cheap compared to ongoing model. Choose mobile to use as tool not as fashion item. That is my advice.

මම 2016 දී S7 එකක් ගත්තා දැනට තියන ප්‍රදාන පර්ශ්නය බැටරි එක පැය 4 වගේ තමා තියන්නේ කලින් නම් දවස් එකමාරක් පාවිච්චි කරා. බැටරි එක මරු කරන්න පොඩ්ඩක් සැක සහිත තියන්නේ waterproof නැති වේවි කියල. කලින් ට වඩා ටිකක් ස්ලෝ දැන් ෆෝන් එක.


හොද ෆෝන් එකකට ගියාට කමක් නෑ පරිස්සමින් පාවිච්චි කරන සහ ගෙවන මුදලට ඇත්තටම ෆෝන් එකෙන් වැඩක් ගන්නවා නම්. නිකන් කෝල් විතරක් ගන්න නම් ෆෝන් එකකට සල්ලි වියදම් කරන එක තේරුමක් නැ.

I used to be an avid android user and preferred HTC and Sony devices. I was able to use each devices for period of 2 years (max) with often lagging and occasional crashes and freezing. And i hated that. Then switched to apple. The rest is history.

yes.. it's better to choose a flagship phone if you're about to buy one (better to select lhig performance chipset series - eg snapdragon 8xx). As an advantage, you will get multiple android version upgrades with the latest Google features in the upcoming few years even the newer version models are out in the market. Therefore, If you buy a flagship, You can use the same phone for 2-3 years with decent features and without being worry about software issues. Talking about resell value, as the phone battery life will wear out within 2-3 years, There is no need to think about reselling a weared out device !

Im using a flagship device i brought 3 years ago still my phone works like charm. And if i compare this to any other mid range device available right now my device is better in every way. Mid range devices are shit.

Buy A flagship device, the choice has served me well over the years compared to when I used a mid-range/entree android phone.
So far have used Samsung S8 (Exynos), s20(snapdragon).

If you buy a phone from a top-tier manufacturer with a Snapdragon processor, it will not disappoint you. But in Samsung's case never buy an Exynos flagship.

Samsung used to provide 2 major Android OS updates accounting for 3 years from release but now they have extended it to 3, which means you'd be okay for 4+ years since the release with 3 Major OS updates.

But from what I have seen, Iphone is like a toyota, always there'd be some 'hawa' waiting to buy it for a premium compared to an android of the same generation.

Further, if you are a power user, Flagships have refined and optimized hardware and software. For an example, I was travelling with some friends sometime back and at the airport, everybody who had 2.4GHz wifi had a hard time using wifi, while the flagship owners who had wifi 5GHz were able to make use of 5GHz AP seamlessly. Also, apps are explicitly optimized for these models since they are more or less globally released phones, unlike some entree/midrange phones which are designed for a specific limited market.

At the end of the day, buy something you can really afford to lose. Undoubtedly the iPhones have set the bar for price of mobile phones so high and have caused the hike in android too IMO. It takes only a minute to lose/destroy a phone, doesn't matter whether it's a flagship nor iPhone nor, etc.
