    how much did the headphones cost you? did you buy it from here in SL?
    btw how much a difference does the DAC make as opposed to directly plugging the headphones into equipment?

    I think most DACs on desktop PCs are pretty decent. However, they might not be able to drive headphones with high impedance drivers. Specially in terms of power output. Build-in DACs usually have low sampling rate and a bit depth though. If you have high quality flac files that are recorded at higher sampling rates and bit depth, you might not actually be able to hear some of the details in music.
    DACs are almost useless if the music source is of low quality like mp3, spotify or youtube.

    Studio monitor Jbl 308s, yamaha mixer, senheisser hd25 hps. Use many genres and these days prefer nu disco, tech house.

    That's a pretty nice setup.
    I got a Logitech Z906 too. Pretty good to chill on the sofa and listen to some music.
    I freaking love listening to "Far over the misty mountains" with it.

    Studio monitor Jbl 308s, yamaha mixer, senheisser hd25 hps. Use many genres and these days prefer nu disco, tech house.
    Do you do some kind of music production?
    I think you probably have the best setup in terms of speakers for listening to music.
