තිරසාර නිෂ්පාදන ක්රියාවලියක් යටතේ ශ්රී ලංකාවේ නිෂ්පාදිත ලොව ප්රථම පරිසර හිතකාමී ස්මාර්ට් මුව ආවරණය (Smart Face Mask) BreathTech-S3 සන්නාමයෙන් ලොවට හඳුන්වාදීම ඊයේ (19) දින අමාත්ය නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ මහතාගේ ප්රධානත්වයෙන් ජාතික ක්රීඩා සභා පරිශ්රයේ දී සිදුවිය.
මෙම පරිසර හිතකාමී ස්මාර්ට් මුහුණු ආවරණය නිෂ්පාදන ක්රියාවලියට හයිඩ්රාමනී සමූහය(Hirdaramani), ශ්රී ලංකා නැනෝ තාක්ෂණික ආයතනය (SLINTEC) සහ සර්කියු ටෙක්නොලොජීස් (CirQ Technologies)යන ආයතන 03 දායක වී තිබේ.
BreathTech-S3 යනු ස්වාභාවිකව දිරාපත්වන සෙලියුලෝස් මත පදනම් වූ අමුද්රව්ය යොදා නිශ්පාදනය කරන ලද Smart සංවේදකයක් සහිත මුව ආවරණයකි.
එමෙන්ම මේ සඳහා ආරක්ෂිත ජංගම යෙදුමක් ද තිබෙන අතර මෙහි ඇති සංවේදක Bluetooth තාක්ෂණය හරහා ජංගම දුරකථන යෙදුමට සම්බන්ධ වී පැලඳ සිටින ක්රීඩකයාගේ ආශ්වාස ප්රාශ්වාස කරන ඔක්සිජන් ප්රමාණයේ සිට විවිධ වැදගත් දත්ත නිරීක්ෂණය කළ හැකිය

The outbreak of COVID -19 has been the hardest-hit to the world in recent times. Due to the recent coronavirus crisis, the disinfectants, social distancing, sanitizers, facial coverings have come to our rescue.
The mask is connected to a smartphone, tablet by using Bluetooth. It has an embedded transmitter. The smart mask delivers voice to the smartphone. In addition, it converts voice into letters, translates messages into 8 different languages. It also creates minutes and helps in making phone calls. Users need to download an app named “C-MASK” so they can access all these features.
Donut Robotics developed its prototype inside a month. They used interpretation software produced for its robot and a mask design developed by the company’s specialist four years ago, SHUNSUKE FUJIBAYASHI as a student project which interpreted speech by mapping face muscles.

The company came up with the idea of the development of smart masks to search for a product that would help the company survive during the pandemic. Therefore, With the cost of $40 per mask, the company aims to enter a promising market that merely existed a few months ago.
The company aims to ship its first 5000 mask in Japan starting from September. CEO ONO plans to extend its market in China, the United States, and Europe too. TAISUKE ONO, the CEO of Donut Robotics said, they worked hard for years to develop a robot and used technology to develop a product that would help people in the pandemic. The company also aims at generating revenue from subscriber services offered via the app.
