A 14-year-old boy has been placed on probation after he was found to have sexually abused his 5-year-old female cousin.
In August, the teenager and his younger brother are reported to have moved to their aunt’s house due to a family dispute. The victim who was also residing in the same house had been sexually abused by the teenager during this time.
He had revealed that on the advise of a few Ordinary Level examination class students in his school, he had commenced watching adult content on social media platforms, such as youtube and other websites, while schools had commenced online education after closing due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The probation officer in charge of the teenager has revealed that the child had stated that he had experimented the actions seen on the adult videos on his 5-year-old cousin, who is the daughter of his mother’s brother.
