Here's The Philips Avance Series Juice Extractor. This has a rotating grater which shreds whatever fed from the top and the centrifugal action makes the juice. The pulp is separately collected and discarded.

Here's the Braun which is mostly used and does the job.... My son uses it daily for his fruit drinks.

All items were purchased from Singapore. The Magic Bullet (2nd Gen -with the powerful motor) was on a special just for a one day promotion.

True, Philips Juice Extractor is useless as the pulp gets wasted. However, we use the Magic Bullet almost daily. We have been using one since 2014 and so far so good. Got a handstick as well. But never used for juice making. Any difference?

The main difference is the taste. What's out of the Magic Bullet tends to be bitter (but contains all the good in it), OTOH juice from the Philips extractor tastes better. My son doesn't care whether it's bitter or not. He was brought up in a zero sugar environment from his infancy. He likes anything. But he can eat a ton of chillies including the kochchi sambola my mother makes.
