Info collected concerning tomorrow’s protests:
1. The protest will take place at the President Secretariat Office – Galle Face;
2. Time will be 1400 hrs;
3. Expected protesters between 30,000 – 50,000
4. 10 different rally’s will be coming to Colombo
a. 1st – downsouth to Colombo and comes via marine drive: Political rally will start from Wellawatta;
b. 2nd – Negombo road to Colombo;
c. 3rd – Kandy road: two rallys will meet each other from Peliyagoda junction and enter into Colombo;
d. 4th – Parliament via Kotte road to Colombo;
e. 5th and 6th – Centeral Colombo and Colombo south will meet the 4th rally from Rajagiriya
f. 7th and 8th – Kottawa and Nugegoda comes via highlevel road; and
g. 9th and 10th – comes via 120 bus route.
5. All rally’s come arrive at Galle Face by 1400 hrs;
6. Police have informed us people may start showing up as early as 1200 hrs;
7. Police are expecting at least 150 – 200 buses full of crowds;
