    Wow. Simply amazing. Lucky dude
Iceland tickets were booked three years ago. LHR-KEF return. I never got a cash refund but a voucher from Icelandic Air valid for three years because of Covid. So I used the vouchers.
But SQ fully refunded the CMB-SIN-LHR and return airfares.

So cool, i'm coming to reykjavik in two weeks, I'd be glad to get some updates from you!
Weather extremely nice. All three days between 12 - 14 Deg C during the day. Only yesterday got caught to a slight drizzle but no wind. Also some waterfall visits needs waterproof gear. Otherwise you get soaked. You can climb and get behind the waterfall shown here.

Things change in no time in Iceland, so be prepared for wet weather.

It's the fourth day today.... Drove to the Eastern tip of Iceland. Hafnarhólmi Island - The most accessible Puffin Colony in Iceland. In Icelandic they are called the "Lundi"
The drive is so beautiful. No photograph can justify the scenery. So not posting any. Here's a photo of a Puffin who walked up to me.

Puffin couples stay together for 20 years. The average lifespan is betwen 20 - 25 years.

Today at Siglufjörður... It's the northernmost town of the mainland. Small population of about 1500 people and the main industry is fishing. Here are two views near the Siglo Hotel and the small fishing harbour. Siglufjörður is located in a very beautiful fjord of the same name, the drive has beautiful mountains and valleys which are really Green. The mountains still have a lot of snow.

Covered a bit of Westfjords and arrived in Grundarfjörður. Kirkjufell, or 'Church Mountain', in the Snæfellsnes Peninsula is the main attraction in Grundarfjörður. It is often called ‘the most photographed mountain in Iceland’ due to its dramatic formation and perfect coastal location.
