I have been working in a place for 15 months now.

And I just realized I have been spending 52% of my income. 48% savings. 0 invests.

How much do you manage to save or invest?

not married or kids. But I rent a place and cook

It's around $1000. technically it should be possible to live within $200 in LK but not possible practically.
I might be super bad at money managmnt. want to track expenses now on properly otherwise future myself will hate me. working fucking long hours bt not saving money.

Don't save in rupees, At least save in dollars. Due to savings of rupees roughly 2/3 of currency value has disappeared over last year.

Since I left my old Job (LKR) I earn 4 times of that now (SGD). But my spending hasn't increased drastically. So I can save more. Like I said depends on what you earn.

use something like spendee (I used to use it but got too lazy) to keep track of your expences. You will be surprised on how much you might waste (little amounts at a time)
