Yeah, it happened to me two hours ago. She just popped out on Instagram with a message request saying "hi" And I was drunk. Fuck, I told everything that I had in my mind. I used to curse her and hate her, But no more. It was useless and it returned to me.

And she said she has no more boyfriend currently. And I don't want to hook up with her again. definitely, she is bad for my health. I don't want to ruin my life again. My 20s were fucking messed up with her, partially. I don't want to fuck it again.

I had the exact same experience, in my early twenties and she wanted to come back into my life after 7-8 years... But, I let her speak to me as a friend or a person I know, and nothing more than that. She left me, and her parents forced her to do so because I was fucking poor back then.. even her parents wanted to hook her back with me after realizing what I have become after she left me ..
