Let's do this in English since you'd understand it better that way. It simply means that they have had little success convincing the other person (mostly a boy who's expecting a girl) to go through the regular process of feeling comfortable with each other, understanding each other, then naturally moving towards knowing what each other like. Therefore, they'd like to jump the gun and go forward with all the information in a fact form. There's nothing wrong with that, but just like every girl already knows, that takes out a huge amount of pleasure associated with the little mysteries, nuances and the discoveries you make about the other person. If you need an example, you can imagine going out for a meal. They'd like to first know the restaurant, read reviews about the place, then know what's served, the way it's prepared, a picture of how it's presented and everything else associated with the meal. In other words, they want to know exactly what they'll receive and have to eat. For me personally, the excitement associated with just picking a restaurant that perks your curiosity, ordering the meal, getting excited when it arrives, enjoying it in a form of a surprise etc is far more pleasurable. Of course that opens you upto some bad, horrible meals that may end you up with diarrhea, but I'll take that chance over having understood everything beforehand. I value the excitement associated with discovering things far more. (in case you don't understand the analogy, that means discovering those things about the other person in a natural way, not knowing everything beforehand in tabulated form) I have to say that I've had way more success going my way, instead of their way which possibly should be better in the sense that they are more prepared, but lack the excitement associated with actually getting to know a whole another person.
