Yep. This is a injunction taken by parent company (Mc USA) against their local partner(Abans franchise) to stop them selling under their name. Mc USA cancelled their contract with Abans due to poor quality standards.

Yeah, they don't want someone to use their brand name, earn money while doing shitty work. I don't think that SL brings enough revenue to them.

They never earned lot of money from Srilankan franchise. However they continue their business to spread the brand name/marketing . Brand recognition is more important to them.
Brand name is more valuable and that's the main reason why they want to stop Abans from selling inferior quality products under their name.
