- Took credit for India's $2 billion in pity money to solve the fuel crisis, keep in mind India had given us this money well before Ranil came in to power
- Has done nothing about corruption + root economical and political issues and in fact SLPP got promoted and gets even more corruption money from tax
- Waited 200+ days for the powercuts to just go away and literally did nothing to alleviate them, he took credit for that also when it was the private sector and the public taking the brunt of it. Again, 200 days of powercuts is not an achievement in the slightest
- Took out more loans (and the original crisis was already spurred partly by his previous loans too) while not showing enough revenue or profit or how those loans are being used (the military)
- Health crisis reached its peak in 2023 a year after his supposed "stability" because he didn't do anything about the corrupt govt he's a part of
- Has done close to 0 SOE reform, the govt is STILL as bloated as ever and its been over 2 years now
- Tax is being largely wasted on the military and to protect politicians
- Consistently censors the media whenever there are issues here, so long as you guys don't see the fuel queues on the street you won't care about the hundreds dying to medical shortages or suicide (the suicide rate stopped getting tracked after 2022 btw)
- Made brain drain even worse because of the issues above and then instead of enticing our smart people he tries to guilt trip them. The issue is so severe that we have a long-term industry crisis happening right now
- Has been around for decades and has failed in almost every stint he's done and was the reason both Mahinda and Gota got their first presidencies (failed ceasefire anyone?)
- Destroyed the one thing the public had to keep tabs on the govt just days after coming in to power and just a month after he said he'd threaten to resign if Gota attacked GGG
