Personalize stamps are issued in a request of person or institution for their commemoration with requested acceptable image and very limited number of stamps are being printed(6 or 15) and also only that requested party can use for postage.

1. Direct purchase facilities of stamps and other related items from Philatelic Bureau at Colombo and sub Bureaus at Matara and Kandy and Communication Locals at main Post Offices around the Country.
2. Standing Order facilities for both local and foreign collectors where they can deposit some money in Philatelic Bureau and open an account and get the stamps and related items to their homes with the face value of the stamps without any postage free. They can continue this process continuously by reloading money as and when their accounts become less.
3. Casual Order facility for both local and foreign collectors where they can pay for Philatelic Bureau to get the stamps and related items they required to their homes with the face value of the stamps without any postage free.
4. Issuing Special Commemorative covers.
5. Supply stamps and related items to foreign agents.
6. Participating Stamp Exhibitions both local and foreign.

1. You must ensure that (and represent to Sri Lanka Post that);
1.1 You have the right to copy the image contained in the photo you submit and,
1.2 You have obtained the permission of any other person (or their parent or legal guardian) who
appears in the photo, for their image to be reproduced.
2. Sri Lanka Post may refuse to reproduce a photo if (or Sri Lanka Post believes that);
2.1 you do not or may not have rights and / or permissions referred to in paragraph 1,
2.2 it is in anyway inappropriate to appear on personalize stamp.
3. Copyright in the personalize stamp will belong to Sri Lanka Post and you must not reproduce them.
