Not really. According to our customs "regulations", to qualify a vehicle as hybrid its wheels should get power by both engine and battery independently. Basically it should be a parallel hybrid as well as a series hybrid. If Nissan e-power system doesn't power the wheels directly with engine at all then there's a problem.

Do latest Wagon-Rs battery directly drive the wheels? I know most of the time engine is driving the wheels. It's a problem with how they define a hybrid.

In mh 55s wagon R battery give some support to electric components and direct through it can creep some seconds ..

it has mild hybrid system..I don’t know about mh95S or custom z
