Bro, I don’t mean to brag, but I’ve done a lot of work related to AI. I also hold a PhD and am currently working at a frontline Language Model company in Silicon Valley. AI is unlike any other field; researchers have been working on it for ages.


I am a proud product of Lanka’s free education, which is why I’m commenting.


In Silicon Valley, the heart of computer engineering, companies have mostly frozen their software engineering hiring.


I haven't visited home for ages, but I guess even in Lanka, there's a huge drop in SE jobs. So please motivate the young generation to think openly.


I know it is hard to accept this stuff. For me, most of the time, AI is better than researchers as well!
