Sri Lanka exports several key goods to the U.S., including:

1. Apparel and Textiles – The largest export category, including garments, knitwear, and fabrics.


2. Rubber Products – Tires, gloves, and other rubber-based items.


3. Tea and Spices – Ceylon tea, cinnamon, and other spices.


4. Gems and Jewelry – Precious and semi-precious stones, mainly sapphires.


5. Coconut-based Products – Coconut oil, desiccated coconut, and coir fiber products.


6. Electronics and Machinery – Circuit boards, electrical components, and equipment.


7. Plastic and Leather Products – Bags, footwear, and other accessories.

Short term this will damage other economies. But in long run the other countries may try to reduce the reliance over US and find other markets this can damage the dollar dominance with time as the other countries may start trading with their own currencies
But US will be more independent from other countries for consumer goods
