I think. Tag 2000 is not a bad watch. It is an iconic watch . Specialy with racing.
But not as a primary watch.
As a watch on the collection, this is fantastic.
Mainly because, due to age, watch may need pricey repairs such as gaskets, relume the dial, strap upgrades etc.
Good conditioned watch may be hard to find and will be pricey side.
If the previous owner tried to cut costs, you will pay the price for that.
Build quality on Swiss watches were improved exponentially after 2000s due to competition.
So older may will have lower material quality. Lower shock resistance, lower magnatic resistance, lower glass quality/anti reflective coating .
water resistant also questionable.
So obviously tag is not a go anywhere do anything watch anymore.
