Xiaomi's hardware is excellent; you could literally use it forever. Specifically, their batteries are remarkable. Even after six years of heavy, non-conservative use and charging, the phone still provides two days of uptime. If this were Apple, a battery replacement would be mandatory after every one or one-and-a-half years.

The only disgrace Xiaomi faces is its Global ROM, which is reportedly developed by a company located in India that is entirely controlled by Indian employees. Because of this, the Global ROMs are poor. The claim is that these Indian employees intentionally sabotage the ROMs. Xiaomi, however, may have no option: to evade US sanctions, they supposedly have to outsource this development. The only country that can do it as cheaply as China is India. Hence, Xiaomi's Global ROMs are rubbish.

On the other hand, the Chinese ROMs, which are developed by Chinese developers in China, are excellent, with no issues to complain about. They are perfect ROMs, literally free of bugs. The ROM coming from India is full of bugs.

Been using a Note 13 4G with the Global ROM since 2024 June (Bought for $108!)

Everything's working great so far. Zero bugs as far as I'm concerned.

I have been using the Redmi Note 8 Pro and the Redmi Note 9 Pro with the Global ROM and have noticed many bugs. I attribute this to the Indian developers. Those two phones are the last LCD phones they made in their Note series. Since I am sensitive to PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation) flickering, I am forced to stick with LCD displays. I honestly do not know which phone to buy because everyone has stopped making LCD flagships and mid-range devices. I also tested Xiaomi phones with Chinese ROMs, which had no noticeable bugs.

What bugs are you running into? I could check my Note 13 to see if those are still there. I'm running the latest HyperOS (2.0.207.0.VNGMIXM)
