    Yes.. I posted here about six months ago that we have plans. It's a bit hard to organise things in this part of the world. Hotels are easy but rental cars across the borders and even border crossing in itself is a hassle without the language. I believe Tajikistan still insists on a Covid test at entry.

    So my wife was discussing with tour operators in Uzbekistan who arranges everything.

    Booked tickets thr' Emirates to fly via DXB to Bishkek and return via Tashkent. Emirates sent an email a couple of days ago rescheduling with a 82 hour wait in Dubai due to the current disturbances. That won't work out for me and also I might get stuck in Dubai again on the return.
    Booked a different set of tickets through Delhi. Air Astana flies daily and only three hours to Almaty which is their base to the Central Asia.

    Can't you use the "carnet de passage". Is it too much of a hassle?. I have seen a vloger called "Itchi boots " follow that method throughout the world and ,on the go at boarders alone.
