Iran, Oman reported to be allowed to charge for Strait of Hormuz passage​

Iran and Oman will be allowed to charge fees on ships transiting through the Strait of Hormuz as part of a two-week ceasefire deal mediated by Pakistan, the Associated Press (AP) news agency is reporting.
AP cited an unnamed regional official as saying that Iran would use the money it raised for reconstruction. It was not immediately clear what Oman would use its money for, the AP added.
The official, who had been directly involved in the negotiations, spoke on condition of anonymity with AP as they were not authorised to discuss internal deliberations.
Iran and Oman share territorial rights over The Strait of Hormuz.

The Israeli prime minister’s office has issued a statement on the US-Iran ceasefire.
“Israel supports President Trump’s decision to suspend strikes against Iran for two weeks subject to Iran immediately opening the straits and stopping all attacks on the US, Israel and countries in the region,” the statement said, according to Israeli media.
“Israel also supports the US effort to ensure that Iran no longer poses a nuclear, missile and terror threat to America, Israel, Iran’s Arab neighbours and the world.
