this is true. if you dont have any idea what to do next, you are listening the wrong one. if you have an idea what to do next, you will not need keep listening.

even in buddhas era..ppl didnt listen to him indefinitely until they achieve the realization. They listened what they have to listened and then started practicing.

many people think there is a magic moment while listening that will make the awakening, and keep listening until that magic moment comes. unfortunately, magga citta doesnt happen like that. It happens only though the correct practice.
