බලා සිටීමේ කාලය අඩු කෙරේ: හෘද රෝගීන් කැතීටකරණ ක්‍රියාවලිය (Cath Lab) සඳහා මාස ගණන්, වසර ගණන් පෝලිම්වල දුක් විඳි කාලය අවසන් කරමින්, එම කාලය මාසයක් දක්වා අඩු කිරීම රජයේ ඉලක්කයයි

නව රසායනාගාර දෙකක් විවෘතයි: කොළඹ ජාතික රෝහලේ අලුතින්ම ඉදිකළ හෘද කැතීටකරණ රසායනාගාර දෙකක් අද (03) දින සෞඛ්‍ය හා ජනමාධ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය නලින්ද ජයතිස්ස මහතා අතින් විවෘත විය.
මහල් 16 ක දැවැන්ත හෘද රෝග ඒකකයක්: ජාතික රෝහල තුළ මහල් 16 කින් යුත් අතිනවීන හෘද රෝග ප්‍රතිකාර ඒකකයක් ඉදිවන අතර, එය 2029 සැප්තැම්බර් වන විට ජනතා අයිතියට පත් කෙරේ.

Two New Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories to Be Commissioned at National Hospital Tomorrow​

Two new Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) units and a renovated Cardiology Day Case Unit at the National Hospital of Sri Lanka will be officially commissioned tomorrow (July 2) under the patronage of Health and Mass Media Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa.
The facilities were established under the Asian Development Bank (ADB)-funded Health System Enhancement Project to strengthen cardiac care services and improve diagnostic and treatment efficiency.
Equipped with advanced AI-based imaging technology, the new Cath Labs will help reduce waiting lists, improve diagnosis accuracy and enhance patient care. With these additions, four new Cath Labs have been introduced to Sri Lanka’s state hospital system this week.

Health System Enhancement Project Launch funded by Asian Development Bank​

Health System Enhancement Project (HSEP); 2018 – 2023 official launch was held on 1st of April 2019 at Jasmine Hall BMICH with the collaboration of Ministry of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine (MOHNIM) and Asian Development Bank (ADB), under the patronage of Hon. Minister of Health, Dr. Rajitha Senaratne. The ceremony was chaired by the Secretary Ministry of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine , Director General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe, ADB Country Director Ms. Sri Widowati, Project Director (HSEP) Dr. Anil Dissanayake and Dr. Brian Chin Social Sector Specialist ADB Headquarters. Chief Secretaries, Provincial Health Secretaries and representatives with other relevant departments also attended the ceremony.
