World is heading for a financial crisis again while making some people dumb and retarded. I don't think replicating prototypes makes any business sense. If antropic/open ai actually create a good LLM, they are going to replicate google, stripe and not some monkey coder projects and keep the LLM to them selves to make money. Machan, there is a huge promotion of AI courses on SL social media, and people are highly interested in learning. See,now there's a rally for AI learning. You know, Sri Lankan's are really friendly and now the trending rally is for AI learning.
Even someone who struggles to compose a simple email is now easily generating advanced letters, quotations, agreements, MoUs, etc. Sometimes, they don't even understand what they have generated. The letters they get from Gemini can feel like a surprise or miracle to them. Because of this, there seems to be a sudden boost or rather, a bubble in Sri Lanka, making it look like people's English literacy and competence are skyrocketing.
