After many decades, maybe AI can replace some of these professions. But not in foreseeable future.
But if you are a software engineer or a designer, you can be replaced NOW.

for example, an autopilot that goes crazy, or an Ai/robotic surgeon that goes crazy, could both end up taking an innocent life. you can arugue all you want, but a life is a life.

if you think of replacing these professions with the current Ai, don't even think of it. like I said, we are still in the baby stages of Ai power.. way to go. but mark my word (i am nobody), it will happen. so called licensed professions will be replaced by Ai, in a similar way or in a more advanced way like they started with taxi services. driverless taxi. driverless taxis are once again like an infant in this journey.

funny thing, some of the jobs we think that won't be affected by Ai, some labor work etc, even they are not safe. Ai+Robotics is all they need. no in the soon future, but eventually we will get there.
