When they say that just to scare criminals, who can trace the truth?!
We will never know what happen to that man, if they say he's killed but just put in jail.

heads of those drug scene are absolutely big time ..politicians favor them..they are above the reach of law..so if public wna see dead bodys we will see dead bodys but at the end of the day the real deal, the source of disease would still be alive. so may be i get the feeling that, killing is not the ultimate solution..we have to consider the source.

to activate death penalty there should be a benchmark or ranking system on a country's legal system governed by a world body which is independent. because if the legal system is weak and not proper, there can be wrong decisions (although crimes are to be proved beyond reasonable doubt in theory) for which innocent people might have to suffer with their lives.

in Gulf countries the law has a huge influence based on Muslim religion. If SL law has a significant influence based on Buddhism (which is the major religion) then implementing death penalty can be illegal as it is against Buddhism.
