How to add shade effects to your Elakiri user profile[FONT=&quot]

How to add shade effects to horizontal bars like this:-[/FONT]

This tutorial will guide you on how to add horizontal bars with shade effects to your user profile.
Actually, this is very simple and all you have to do is add an edited picture to the [FONT=&quot]correct[/FONT] section in the profile customization menu.[FONT=&quot]


[/FONT] 1)Making the picture

• Open a new project in Photoshop ( ctrl + N )
• Set resolution - 600 X 28 pixels (or your choice) (image-2.1)
• Set Background contents > transparent > click ok (image-2.1)
• Use paint bucket for coloring.(or paint tool)(image-2.2)

• [FONT=&quot] Select the layer, right click > blending options. [/FONT]
• Set values like this or try to make it even better, you can also use other blending options like pattern overlay, bevel and emboss, texture to make it nice.

• [FONT=&quot] Select canvas size ( alt + ctrl + c ) and set width to 580 pixels (To crop unnecessary parts of the picture)[/FONT]

• [FONT=&quot] save as the picture.( alt + ctrl + shift + s )[/FONT]

2) Upload pictures to Elakiri albums.

3) Add pictures to the profile

Go to – [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]http://www.elakiri.com/forum/profile.php?do=customize

now, add those pictures to Major Block Headers, Minor Block Headers, Primary Content Areas, Secondary Content Areas as you wish.
this image will help you to find the correct section [/FONT]in the profile customization menu.
