2. Most of da pay fones dont work!, When i use some other guys fone they get my mothers fone number! So giving ur(in this case my mothers) fone number to a unknown person is not wise thing to do!

You're not going to tell the call center guy the number since most are fully self served. The others where you do give the number, you dont tell the guy at the counter that its your mums number do you ?

some time back when the grace period to register sims was over. Some of the people I know was not able to get or make calls and they got a message on telling them to register the sim before a given date before the number was completely disconnected.

when we went to school we couldn't take mobiles phones to school, even thought those days 3210 and 3310 was the top of the range we couldn't take them to school's or private classes even, so this is a good move
