I do earn about Rs. 400,000 - 600,000 per month in Australian dollars though.

My job is/ are: Information Manager, Project Management consultant, Sometimes even a Networking specialist in InfoSec. (Basically I work as a consultant).

Have done the Diploma in IT at SLIIT, BSc in computer & information science, MSc in ICT Management etc. Also am a certified associate in Project management, member of ACS, COBIT professional in IT governance.

If anybody is into programming, the future of programming is .Net and Java. (mainly C#, C++, Java).

Don't trust anybody to identify the best institute to study a degree. Do your own research to choose it.

i did a IT degree..
but i could't find job with a good salary here in LK...
i wasted 1yr looking for a good job with high salary...
well that never happened...

in the mean time i was busy with the internet and got in to the finance...

and now it's almost 6months since i start on the finance...
i work from home, thought internet...
i work for no body...im on my own...

and i get arnd $3000+ a month (345,000LKR+)

And that may be from stock market ........

yes machan SLIIT costs around 65,00/- per a 6 months . there are 3*2=6 semesters
for the degree. Then it costs around 390,000/- all. But that SLIIT returns them nothing
. so the SLIIT management should responsible for that. Anyway I have a same experience with the IJTS and ESOFT.

WTF. Seems you are a noob in Programming and still you don't know what is programming.You are just doing coding. You got same experience in a SLIIT degree by doing IJTS and ESOFT ??
Im sure you are talking about start .NET or Netbeans IDE and drag some buttons and write code for them. Dude thats not programming. Thats coding. For coders there's no jobs anymore.
Do you know about Data structures , Advanced Object Orient concepts ?? Im talking here cuz i know about those institutes and their Diplomas.
Recently Virtusa got some Java jobs and they have given a programme for the interviewers to develop using Java. All are messed it and they kicked. Cuz that function or something can't implement using Java AFAIK
So don't be fools. Learn more about programming mostly Data Structures , Database management and Heart of Programming (Object oriented concepts)
