having an asus vga is juz for the sake of prestige(even i hav an asus 4870x2)..
buh u gota think wisely when it comes to money vs performance....if ur a rich kid then go for tha asus 1gig one..or else stick for the xfx 1gig....why pay more for a lower performance one eh???
one more thing...juz compare all the specs of both cards....im sure its gonna be the same(like ddr5,pixelshader 4.1...blabla...)

yeah ure ryt..., I did sum research abt GTS 250, sum say xfx has bad fan prblems n ect, one f da drawbacks of asus is, heat will spread into the casing as it is not covered like xfx one, but still it's not a big deal,
sum ppl say, 1GB mem is only usable if ure hving a big monitor; otherwise it wont take that much of memory usage since it has 256bit mem interface;
and when thinkin abt warranty, asus gives 3yrs whilst xfx gives 1 yr (lifetime limited in US though);
definitely i wont go for Asus gts250 1gb one as I dnt hv enough money...

xfx GTS 250 1gb (1 yr warrenty) - 22k
there was Biostar GTS 250 - 512mb for 18500/= @ Mitech, it's out of stock now
still I hvnt decide which to buy...!!!
