I have 2x GTX285 SLi, but my next upgrade gonna be ATI.

I never used nVidia cards..never bought one and would rarely recommend them to some one because when I can get the same performance cheap ..I go where its cheap! games are not the whole of computers can do so for someone like me a middle end class card is the best ..so ATI middle ends are VERY cheap .. and of cause their sales figures aree much sexier!

I dont know the current situation...but a friend of mine had a geforce MX card(which was one of the best then) the guy had his mobo's AGP port fried because of that card ..to much power consumption + heat still he uses it with a newer mobo and he uses a BIG 230v fan in the case to keep things at normal temp...

hehe! nice to see some ATI fans in EK. cs in sl most of pc users believes that nvidia and intel are the one and only good pc hardware makers and most of them dont even look at AMD products. some refuse them at the first place by saying AMD has heat issues etc...

anyway im not an AMD or ATI FAN!! hehe! If then why the heck do I need to buy a GTX 285 gpu??

anyway I love those ATI cards, which comes with a little price tag, but do a lot when they are powered up! 4870 and 4890 are great cards from ATI. And its hard to compare them to Nvidia cards. its kind of a personal preference.

if ur a son on a gun///then go for nvidia's higher price tag for low performance squad...if ur a wise gamer..buy ATI save a lota green,n purchase the balance in some thing worthy like a ram upgrade or some thing....
