for nearly 14 years now i have been watching cricket,that means since 1996..
when you brought the world cup to our battered nation
you brought us smiles,
a nation battered with LTTE suicide bombs,,,
roits and many black stains.......
you brought us a smile
we all smiled when we see you in the tv
]dominating the world
destroying the oppostions
making the lion flag wave proudly in the skies
you brought our counrty to the map........
you taought us how to love cricket
....
when you play,i always gets guus bumps,actaully speaking my heart rate increases when you starting your inning(afraid that you might get our early)
but when you scores some runs i become more comforatble...it is you who made me love cricket.....

as you are 40 years old you have still got the guts to go on till the 2011 world cup..
but you seems bit nervous these days,plzz dont be,,,you are important
i personally belive you are fit to play till the 2011 wc and retire after that WC.
but to do that plzzzzzzz
plzzzzzzz be calm in the field...
you still have the unstoppable power of sanath jayasuriya we know
but dont play all the matches till 2011 WC..
