if ur planning to do internet browsing Atom is not a problem. Coz those type of laptops even dont have a DVD or a CD rom . but power saving is Maximum . coz the screen size is 8.9 or 10 inch. and also atom prossesor use less power than other prossesors. so pay more 15000 and go 4 a compaq dual core or a singal core laptop with all options,

Atom processor and the Netbook has been targeted for a certain group of users. Basically people who travels a lot and depend on e-mail as their main tool for day to day job. Apart from that student has been a one segment but I don't know how far it will be sucess.

they suck? Hell an AMD Athlon can beat it with the same power consumption.I don't know.Just get a little one which is enough to be fitted in your pocket.
