nope machan. if u using only 2 RAM slots u shuld start from the nearest slot to the CPU, thats the correct way to install a RAM

Heh, that was true when they initially came out.Now its not.You just install in either Channel to full occupy the 128bit.Even my nforce 4 controller didn't wanted them to be in 1st channel.

And FYI its not the best thing to install the RAM closest the CPU for us.Custom bigass coolers. Its really hard to have them close to the CPU.

Edit: For Dual channel, 128 bit.But with triple channel it'll be 192 bit.
