Two Canadian Conservative Members of Parliament Partick Brown (Barrie) and Paul Calandra (Oakridges Markham) claim they have been denied visas to Sri Lanka to visit the Internally Displaced Persons camps. The MPs told Canadian media he will take up the issue with the Canadian government.

"As members of the Canadian Parliament, we were seeking to verify the status of refugees who were held in these camps by the Sri Lankan Government," said Patrick Brown, Conservative MP for Barrie.
